Jackson, WI (AP) – The Jackson-Lodge-Lambert Lake Lodge & Spa is now closed, the resort announced on Tuesday.
It’s unclear what caused the closure, but resort officials said in a statement that they have since closed the resort to all guests and guests who have stayed overnight due to health issues.
The lodge was opened in April and is located in the town of Jackson on Lake Michigan.
The lake is the only lake in Wisconsin to have a water level of 10 feet or more, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
The resort also announced that its resort bar will no longer be open at the resort.
The Jackson Lodge was built in 1908.
It has been a popular destination since it opened, attracting people from all over the world to the lake.
The resort is now owned by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
