What if you’re looking for something a little more exotic than a resort?
Well, now you can.
The Lonely Planet has released a guide to the top hotels around the world, and while we’re still in the process of crunching numbers, it does provide a few tips on what you can expect to find when you book.
The hotel list is based on the Lonely Planet’s data on the number of guests per night, the average cost of a night, average rooms per night and average rooms booked per night.
There’s also a few other things to keep in mind when booking a room, such as the time of day, weather conditions and whether you want to stay in one of the two types of rooms (hotel or suite).
